NAD/Brain Restoration Plus (BR+)

NAD/BR+ is a proprietary therapy that the brain needs for healthy functioning. Stress, depression, addiction, alcoholism, and post-traumatic stress deplete the brain of chemicals known as neurotransmitters. Our NAD/BR+ therapy, which include nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD), help patients replenish their supply of neurotransmitters, withdraw from addictive substances and overcome anxiety, depression, chronic or acute stress, post-traumatic stress, CTE, and other conditions by giving the brain what it needs to return to proper functioning. These therapies are completely nutrient-based— and not another drug to become addicted to or dependent upon. They are compounds a healthy body makes naturally.

Studies done in the early 1960s demonstrated the efficacy and safety of IV NAD in detoxifying patients from alcohol, opiates, tranquilizers and stimulants. Current research also indicates that NAD deficiencies may trigger a host of metabolic and degenerative diseases—including obesity, Type II diabetes, chronic traumatic encephalopathy, Alzheimer’s, and Parkinson’s. When using NAD with the BR+ therapies for addiction or stress treatment, neurochemical imbalances can be restored to healthy functioning usually within ten days or less.

At the end of the treatment, more than 90% of our patients report no cravings, increased clarity of mind, better problem-solving ability, improved focus and concentration, increased energy, and improved mood. When combined with psychological and spiritual counseling, individual or group therapy, 12-step programs, and spiritual practices, patients are able to make a lifelong recovery.

Functional Medicine Georgia can help alleviate the brain-destroying diseases of alcoholism, other addictions, chronic stress and anxiety, as well as acute stress, including Post Traumatic Stress.

Our proprietary NAD/BR+ therapies are effective at enabling patient withdrawals from addictive substances and overcoming anxiety, depression, chronic or acute stress, and  Post-Traumatic Stress. At the end of the treatment, 90% of our patients report no cravings, increased clarity of mind, better problem-solving ability, improved focus and concentration, increased energy, and improved mood. When combined with psychological and spiritual counseling, individual or group therapy, 12-step programs, and spiritual practices, patients are able to make a life long recovery.

Our Integrative Approach to Brain Restoration

The first step is to have an assessment prior to the treatment whereby the patient’s medical history and current status is reviewed. This initial assessment will determine what the patient’s protocol will be. A typical addiction detox treatment is 10 days but the patient’s history and present or current circumstances may require additional days.

The patient receives individually designed IV (Intravenous) protocols of NAD/BR+ under the supervision of trained medical staff. This process improves and promotes healthy brain functioning. At the end of the treatment, the patient’s cravings are either absent or greatly reduced. With clarity of mind, the patient can resume a life free of substance abuse and its ruinous medical, interpersonal, and legal consequences.

This treatment is not a substitute for recovery. It is not a cure, it is the beginning of the process of healing. Once the brain is restored to optimal functioning, the patient has the clarity of mind to engage in the recovery process with the ability to stop compulsive behaviors and make mindful choices that are self-supportive rather than self-destructive.

Patients that are seeking treatment for stress related disorders will receive a shorter treatment schedule. The stress management treatment is typically completed within 4 days. The initial assessment will determine if additional days will be necessary. During the four days, patients will receive the IV treatment, along with amino acids, vitamins and minerals to restore depleted neurochemicals due to chronic stress, acute stress, or trauma.
